The hotel features 10 restaurants offering everything from an international buffet to snacks to Italian, Asian and Spanish specialties to name just a few. Drinks are served at 10 different bars including 2 swim-up bars and a 24hr Sports bar. Daytime entertainment includes sports such as beach volleyball, snorkeling, kayaking and RIU Fit activities as well as the Riu Splash Water World water park, a gym and a Spa.


Nights are filled with music and dancing. Enjoy a different show each night or dance until the morning at the hotel nightclub Pacha. Wednesdays are for fun at our White or Neon Party and every Sunday night, step onto a sandy dance floor and feel yourself surrounded with good vibes at our special Beach party. In addition, Mondays and Fridays you also have access to the famous themed RIU Pool Party at the nearby RIU Complex with transportation, drinks and snacks included.

Hotel Spring Break Policy:
1. Student / Spring Breaker Groups (21 years of age or older) will be accepted 
exclusively at the following 5 hotels:
Riu Santa Fe
Riu Cancun
Riu Caribe
Riu Latino
Riu Republica

2. All Student / Spring Breaker Group reservations are strictly On Request and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the corresponding Destination Sales Department. 
RIU Hotels & Resorts reserves the right of admission and may reject any request at its sole discretion.

3. Each Student / Spring Breaker Group request will be reviewed and quoted on a case-by-case basis. Quoted rates may be higher than current FIT/Group rates.

4. Student / Spring Breaker Groups are excluded from our Price match policy for contracted 
groups!

5. If a Student / Spring Breaker Group is accepted:
a. The number of rooms will be deducted from the contracted allotments
b. Minimum Age requirement: 21 years of age or older.
c. The Hotel may request proof of age in the form of passport or official ID
d. Each room must submit a signed liability agreement upon check-in.

6. At all other RIU properties Student Groups / Spring Breakers (either groups or individuals, 
regardless of age) are not allowed at any time during the year

7. Guests disturbing or generating complaints from other guests or hotel may be removed 
from the property, at their own expense.
a. Parties in rooms are not permitted

8. Definition of Student / Spring Breaker Groups
High school through college aged individuals who vacation in traditional or FIT Groups to 
celebrate their Spring Break.
Any group or individual with these characteristics arriving at any Riu Hotel not listed above 
will not be admitted on property with no refund.
Please be advised that Riu Hotels & Resorts will use any and all means at our disposal to 
identify and cancel suspected Student / Spring Breaker Groups. Partners should abstain 
from quoting Riu properties for groups which they suspect may be youths traveling together 
for said purposes.

9. With regards to Riu Liability in these cases.
RIU Hotels & Resorts is in no way responsible for the consequences and or lawsuits that 
may ensue due to rejection of unauthorized spring breakers arriving on Riu property. Riu 
Hotels and Resorts withholds right of admission and will take the necessary steps to 
safeguard the All-inclusive leisure experience for which it prides itself, and which our mutual clients have come to expect. We consider it our obligation to protect those clients against 
unruly, unsecure, unhealthy, dangerous, noisy, obnoxious and in any other way, disruptive 
behavior. Riu Hotels and Resorts has a zero-tolerance policy in regards to this issue.

10. Student / Spring Breaker Groups must comply with any protocols (hotel and government) in place at the time of stay at the hotel

    Great visit!

    Great food, excellent price and wonderful staff! I have no complaints about this resort, my friend and I really enjoyed ourselves. Very relaxing. All inclusive is definitely the way to go! So many pools, bars and restaurants to choose from.

    Food was average, service in general was poor. Like room maintenance, tap water issues etc.

    Reception was not very helpful, everything else was great. Emplyess , entertainment .parties were great.

    Worst Riu hotel ever

    This was a terrible experience the room safe locked me out the tvs have no English channels the food bring your own seasoning from home they do not use seasoning on their food also my bed sheets were stained and most of the staff doesn't understand or speak English.

    Better food

    Reservation should be able from your room and more activities at the pool at night. It's a great place and scenery for a nice tropical getaway!
