Beach was nice. Sandra at the towel stand was very nice every day greeted us with her smile. Room was clean but lacking hotel amenities. The TV you can’t watch any stations unless you pay for it. Pool bar makes mediocre drinks. The ladies at the Wave Shack by the beach make great drinks!!! Pure ocean restaurant on beach was not good. Other place by pool nice for breakfast/lunch. Deli was nice closes at 5 and the gift shop I liked. Otherwise that’s it for places to eat. After 5 o’clock all there is is the one place that’s meh. Would I come here again….no

Sep 05, 2026The Staff + Grounds Make This Place!
I want to start by saying overall we had an incredible week. The grounds & the staff truly make this place what it is. My complaints would be about the room. We staying in a studio suite in the Bonair Tower Suites. When we first entered the room, we were definitely hit with a mildew smell. I had already read in other reviews this had been an issue. We wound up cranking the air conditioning and keep the fan running pretty much 24/7 to alleviate this issue. The suite itself really wasn’t properly cleaned— specially the bathtub had spots & stains that clearly could have been removed with washing, so we ultimately avoiding using it. It was actually kind of gross. The shower door didn’t fill shut & the grouting on the glass shower walls wasn’t sealed so the floor and sink shelving were soaked after the first shower and subsequently all my health and beauty aids that were laid out there. The third floor ice machine did not work, but we realized the one in our freezer did so that was an easy workaround. The drawers throughout the suite were not on tracks, so very easily were pulled out and can fall or were uneven. We finally realized the seal for the slider door was broken, with a good portion open to the outdoors allowing the hot outdoor air to seep in. At one point we wanted fresh towels to shower & it’s took several calls over a few hours time spans to finally get them. I know that sounds like a lot of negative things and yet I am leaving a 4 start review… it’s largely, if not entirely, because of the friendliness and warmness of the staff. From the second we arrived with the help of the front desk staff, specially John (a young kid wearing an orange shirt) went above and beyond to get us to our room, Joel at the beach & pool who truly made us feel like family (greeting us every morning and celebrating our engagement as if he knew us for years), Julio who made sure we were set up at the beach every morning… I could have gotten so many more staff’s names because they all greeted you with a smile and went out of their way to make this a great experience. Truly, I commend the staff at this resort! You guys make this place what it is. Thank you!!

My wife and I celebrated our 50th anniversary at the resort. We had an excellent experience from checkin to checkout. The food in all of the restaurants and snack areas were delicious. The staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the island. The buildings and our guest suite were spotless. The view from our oceanfront balcony was endless and the sunsets were amazing. We will return again in the future.
