Just ok
This was our second time at this resort, we had been over spring break years ago and wanted to try it when it wasn’t so packed. The property could really use a refresh. We stayed in the PC Ocean Front Presidential Suite and it was lovely. A great space and we loved that the rooms were connected but gave us privacy too. The balcony was stunning. We did nit get consistent service at the main pool, but there was one server that stood out, Isabel, she was great when we had her. We didn’t go to the adults only pool because our kids were with us so I can’t speak to that. We had wonderful service at the PC. One day a squall came through and we hung out there for a while. Our standouts were Bordeaux and Seaside Grill. We also enjoyed the food at Portofino and our waiter was great but they seated us outside and it was after the rain and the cushions on our seats were wet. We also did the beach cabana one day and I highly recommend. At ahh that stood out to us: Hugo the bartender in PC , Isabel, Freddy at the cabana was amazing and Irvin at the PC breakfast at Seaside Grill was so good! The grounds crew works so hard too. Overall, it was a good trip but I don’t know that we will be back.

nice views, but disappointed
Hotel on the beach was great, the overall experience was mediocre, room service was a disaster. upgrading to preferred status, no real benefits. ASK in advance which restaurants are open during your stay. Disappointed on the limited food options.

cabo no go
Not a good place to go, can't even swim in the ocean. Staff tried to act American; couldn't even get real Mexican food, and prices are high

Was hoping for more from Hyatt
Our stay at Dreams Los Cabos was nice overall, but unfortunately it didn’t quite meet our expectations. We wish the property were larger and offered more activities for families and kids, and we felt the food could have been better. The pushy timeshare presentations were also a major turnoff and took away from the experience. That said, the hotel staff were absolutely amazing—accommodating, friendly, and always willing to help. We really appreciated their hospitality. Unfortunately, compared to our experience at Dreams Tulum, we just weren’t as satisfied with this property and probably wouldn’t return. We’re glad we experienced it, but Dreams Tulum definitely set a higher standard for us.

GREAT STAY!
Overall our experience was great!!!! I personally like how close this resort is to the airport. I don't mind that it's not close to Cabo downtown area as we never left the resort. It has a great atmosphere and it felt pretty upscale. Like they have really nice furniture. Rooms were acceptable. Not really exciting or anything but they were nice enough. The value is top notch. Sure there are nicer places or less nice but the value for the $$ was on point for us. The food was good, not great, but good. Drinks were also good. A couple cocktails were awesome, but most were too sweet for us or weren't blended enough. Wine selection was ok. Not as bad as other places, but nothing to write home about. liquors were not "Top tier" but they were ok. I stuck with Jimador or Hornitos for Tequila. For example, Don Julio was not part of the all inclusive. It was not the cleanest hotel we've stayed at but it was ok. Most of the places I noticed that could've used more cleaning were public restrooms and the pools but our room/linens/etc were all in great condition. Service was a little hit and miss but overall it was great! Most of the staff was kind, helpful, prompt, attentive and warm. Those that lacked a little in the helpful and prompt category were still very warm and kind. Noise level is pretty good.... Only complaint was that room service picking up food late at night outside our door at like 3am was a little loud. Oh, and black out curtains didn't work the best. Light still shown thru underneath. Pretty bright by 730 am. Amenities were good. Great fitness center and an amazing Kids Club. Hours (AKA the ability to leave kids all day vs. places that need to be picked up for lunch/dinner) were awesome. My husband and I really enjoyed that the kids wanted to do the evening activities so we could enjoy a dinner or two without kiddos. The staff at kids club were awesome and we personally liked that they didn't do too many TV based activities, although my 8 year old would disagree. Entertainment was fun too. High energy, silly, fun!!! One of my only major complaints is the massive upcharge on things like pool toys and sunscreen. The hotel seems to take advantage of the lack of access to these things. We paid $38 for a volleyball and we refused to buy sunscreen at $45. (SOOOO, just bring your own!!) Overall, great stay. We will likely be back, but kids club is probably the main driver for that!!!!
