- The resort's tranquil atmosphere provides the ultimate escape from reality.
- The perks with sister properties make this spot feel like three resorts in one!

- The Sunset Beach Kids Club is the perfect place for kiddos to have their fun too.
- You can enjoy golf all day with oceanfront views. Sounds like a win-win.
Dreamy, spotless sands on a private beach on the western side of the tip of Baja in Cabo San Lucas is where you'll find Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Golf & Spa Resort. Offering an extensive menu of Euro-inspired treatments, the Spa at Sunset Beach was named the "#1 Top Hotel Spa in Mexico" and among the "Top 10 Hotel Spas in Mexico, Central and South America" by Travel + Leisure. The spa offers aromatherapies, Swiss showers and spa tubs with plunge pools, but experienced spa-divas dive right into the Honey Sugar Glow, where an exclusive formula of crystallized honey hydrates, exfoliates and smoothes the skin.
You can stroll or enjoy a good book and a tropical cocktail from Manila Bar, located on the private sands of Pueblo Bonito at Sunset Beach. Due to strong undertows, swimming at the resort's beach is prohibited, but a complimentary shuttle is available to transport guests to Pueblo Bonito's sister resort, where you'll find ample safe waters on Medano Beach. Don't feel like traveling? The resort has you covered with five freeform swimming pools, five Jacuzzis, shady loungers and six swim-up bars.
When you're thinking about what to eat, flavors abound at La Nao's a la carte breakfasts, Sunday brunch and theme night dinners. From Monday's Mexican buffet with live music to Saturday's coveted prime rib special, each meal is a wonder. For after-dinner drinks, enjoy the open-air, ocean-view terrace of The Lobby Bar.
If you want even more options, you're in luck. In total, you'll have access to 32 different dining options and 14 bar options thanks to the shuttle service that connects you to each of the sister resorts (Sunset Beach, Rose, PB Los Cabos & Quivira Golf Club). With all those culinary options, you'll have your plate full with delicious food to sample and tasty cocktails to sip.

First time in Cabo
Just got back from a nine day stay for our first trip to Cabo. Here are my thoughts. The place is absolutely beautiful. The landscaping, the views the architecture, the pools, the beach. However, I really feel like more attention to detail needed to be spent on cleanliness. For example, the hallways to the rooms had spills and stains of God only knows what on the floors and walls. That’s not something you want to see when you’re at such a beautiful location. Our first day we went to the sky pool and it was a disaster cups food plates spilled drinks everywhere huge turn off. Maybe because it’s low season and a lot of staff are not available. I don’t know. With that said we still had a great time and I would still 100% go back. The golf carts were a blast. I actually renamed them Dodge carts because we felt like we were in a video game. The staff were all amazingly attentive with the exception of the really aggressive timeshare lady that pesters you day after day at the bistro for a timeshare demonstration. She needs to take no for an answer. Somebody please tell her to back off. She was so intrusive and aggressive, and tried to guilt us by telling us she won’t make a commission. I understand she needs to make money, but at the same time people are there to enjoy their vacation and her constant attention was annoying. I’m sure you all know who I’m speaking about. The food I felt was very good. My suggestion is for the staff to wear gloves when preparing and serving food. I am a restaurant owner at home in the states and I saw a lot of health code violations in the food prep areas. I just put my blinders on so I could still eat without being grossed out. lol. I am happy to report nobody got sick. I enjoyed walking the property and can imagine it must be that much better when it’s not 1000° out. Everything in our room was in working order. We had no problems. It was a little damp so we just asked for a dehumidifier which worked great the whole vacation. We were in building 45. Our sons had a first floor room in building 40 and I found their room to have a strong musty odor. The golf carts came quick. The drivers were super fun and nice. The pool servers were awesome. Worked really hard in that heat and always had a smile you can’t ask for better. The shuttle to downtown was very nice. I tried to see as much of the property as I could stand in the heat we were dealing with. We got lots of exercise and lost a lot of water weight from sweating ha ha I really fell in love with the property and would definitely go back if I was to go back to Cabo. Shout out to Elliott at the gelato station in the market. He was so sweet and was very careful with our food allergies.

We felt pressured about leaving a tip
Unfortunately, our experience with Gabrielle (The After) was very disappointing. His attitude was rude and unprofessional, and we felt uncomfortable with how pushy he was about getting a tip. What was especially concerning was that after my friend clearly said no to leaving a tip, a tip was still manually entered on the bill. That is completely unacceptable and left us feeling that our wishes as customers were not respected. Tipping should always be the customer’s choice and should never be pressured or added after the customer has declined. I hope management looks into this situation seriously, as this kind of experience can leave a very negative impression on customers.

Never Again! Fourth and Last Stay.
This was our fourth stay at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach, and unfortunately, it will be our last. We have also stayed at Montecristo, so we are very familiar with Pueblo Bonito and expected much better. The service was extremely disappointing, with excessive waits and numerous room maintenance and cleanliness issues. Even more concerning, all three of our children developed swimmer’s ear during/after using the resort pools, which we found concerning and unusual. We contacted Isabel Loera, who said our complaint was being escalated to management and copied Yazmin Adames. Yazmin never responded at all. It has now been almost three weeks, and I intentionally allowed plenty of time for management to respond before posting this review. After being repeat guests and giving management every opportunity to address our concerns, the lack of meaningful follow-up has been incredibly disappointing. We will not be returning.
