Fun in the sun
Shacody Knowles, the waitress in the morning was so friendly and helpful. She gave us tips on how to access the town bus and other area to-dos and we took her advice. Thankful for the warmth.

Best vaca ever ! Thank you much.
A very warm welcome from the front desk with Lauren. And the entertainment Crew was fantastic. From pool/beach activities and night time entertainment. A shout out to Ashtin, Shoquoin, Dejanaie, Lyndon, Joseph, Shoquira, and Devon. I hope I am spelling their names correctly. These young adults made our stay so much more enjoyable. We were sad to leave, felt like home. We are missing them already. I applaud the Entertainment Crew. The buffet service and restaurant service was very good.

Waste your money at your own expense
Where do I start? I'm literally sitting here next to the sliding glass door at 9:30pm Sunday night while the same sliding glass door is vibrating from the contracted party going on in the pool deck, It's vibrating to the beat of the bass as they have stadium style speakers where I can't hear my TV. At level 30. I'm on the 4th floor pool facing. There are hundreds of locals yelling/screaming who are NOT guests here. I asked staff when they were done with their party. Midnight. MIDNIGHT. To the management who booked this? YOU are TERRIBLE people to put this kind of BS in the court yard where it vibrates through out the entire horseshoe shaped court yard. ABSOLUTEY STUPID. So much for "A relaxing, all inclusive environment". Was told this is an annual event and to deal with it. Absolutely disgusting to sit here and be forced to listen to garbage club music at stadium levels. Can't sleep a wink. Management couldn't care less. Aside from that. WIFI is HORRIBLE. I have better luck with my phone's hotspot. Don't expect even SLOW WIFI. In todays age in technology, this is garbage. Rooms. As stated dated from I dunno 1973? The room I was in was clean, staff kept it that way and I appreciated that very much. The rooms had connection doors to adjoining rooms for family situations. I could hear EVERYTHING going on, in each room either side of me. EVERYTHING. Get it? We asked for a coffee maker (as listed) and as of today, still waiting. No mini-fridge or microwave unless you want to pay for it nightly. Food. While we are here during a slower time, it wasn't bad at all. But don't expect a lot of variation. Drink. An "all inclusive" resort running out of alcohol is just being cheap. Good thing I don't drink Baily's. It was gone by day 2 of 14. (yes I still have 5 days as of this post God help us). Staff. You have quite the grab bag here. A few seemed genuinely helpful. The rest wouldn't even make eye contact with you when you talked to them. Rude. The house cleaners were prompt, cleaned rooms effectively and moved on but again, barely even looked at you if at all. Dinning staff. Okay, I'm gonna get roasted but know this, I don't care because you don't know me to make any sort of judgement. On more than SEVERAL occasions, we sat down to our table. Waited for staff to come by and fill our glasses with water and such. And waited. And waited till I just got up, went to their own service area, picked up jug of water and juice to fill my glasses myself, returned them all the while they stood there WATCHING ME. Why will I get roasted? Lets just say I have a MUCH lighter complexion, as others where getting served before their butts even hit the chair cushion. You who did this? You deal with your own hate in your heart. I just find you outright repugnant. The beach. I'm by no means an "eco warrior" but I do respect the outdoors and pack my trash out, even if I'm sitting in a chair 30 feet from a trash can. Beaches on either side of the Breezes? Holy moly. I've been to 3rd world countries who took better care of their beaches/property. The people (locals) and cruisers could care less if there was a tone of trash on the beach or in the sea. I carried out so much trash while snorkeling I felt like a garbage man. Absolutely un-called for and disgusting. The adjoining side hustlers (Jet ski renters) on the beaches beside the Breezes property are just that, criminals. $200 on a jet ski for 15 minuets. You have GOT to be kidding me. I wouldn't give them $25 for 15 minuets. I can rent a car for a week on that money alone. Don't even think about snorkel boats and such. Robbery. But, the silly cruisers just pay it. The only real redeeming things I gained from my stay here is that I did meet and enjoy being with several different couples and had a great time with them. I also got to dive with Stuarts Dive center on the South side of the Island. They are a pretty good dive center and you can expect good service from them. And I got to see lots of sharks! Thanks Stuarts! The only thing that makes sense to me with other reviewers giving 5 star ratings are cruisers who get a day pass and leave without knowing anything other than the pool/bar/food/beach for 6 hours of their stay. -- OR -- Staff here are writing bogus reviews. Anything else doesn't make sense. I'm sure the Management here will figure out who I am and will most assuredly make the remaining time on my stay even more miserable. But I hope this reaches many who consider what I'm saying before wasting their time/money on this place. To the Breezes owner/management - I will NEVER set foot upon or return to ANY of your properties again. ps. There is NO spa here so false advertising too. Way ta go Breezes.

Disappointing all-inclusive resort: poor service, limited variety, and almost no entertainment
My Experience at Breezes Resort Nassau – 5/10 Overall, my experience at Breezes Resort Nassau was disappointing. I would rate it 5 out of 10, and I definitely would not return. The resort has a few positive aspects, but considering the price we paid and the fact that it is advertised as an all-inclusive resort, I expected much more. Check-in was quick, which was a positive, but when we arrived, almost nothing was explained to us about the resort, its services, restaurants, schedules, or activities. The room was very clean and comfortable, and I definitely give them credit for that. However, it was extremely basic. There was no refrigerator, bottled water, drinking glasses, or other amenities I would normally expect in a resort room. Basically, we had a bed, air conditioning, and a television. The food was average at best and extremely repetitive. There was very little variety, and we seemed to see the same food every day: rice, eggs, chicken, and pork. We also tried the restaurants. They were clean and organized and the service there was good, but once again, the biggest problem was the limited variety and repetitive menus. One of the most disappointing parts of our stay was the bar and beverage service. If you are at the beach and want a drink, you have to walk back toward the pool area because there is no real beach beverage service. On several occasions, we felt that the bartenders served guests with a poor attitude, even when we tipped. One experience summarizes the problem very well. I brought a cup that I had previously used for a Piña Colada and asked for a beer. Instead of washing or even rinsing the cup, the bartender simply poured the beer into the same cup with Piña Colada residue still inside. I had to specifically ask for the cup to be washed, and even then, the reaction was not pleasant. The selection and quality of alcoholic drinks were also disappointing. Cocktail choices were extremely limited, basically Piña Colada, Bahama Mama, and Cranberry Daiquiri. The drinks were not particularly well prepared, and on some occasions, even the beer was warm. The pool needs significantly better cleaning and maintenance. The walls were dirty, and we noticed black areas that appeared to be mold in some parts of the pool. There was also no real poolside service. There is a swim-up bar, but at times we had to repeatedly call out to the staff just to get served. The beach was probably the best part of the resort. The water was beautiful, clear, and crystal blue. There was some seaweed, but overall, we enjoyed the beach itself. The entertainment was extremely poor, both during the day and at night. There were practically no activities around the pool. At night, there was also very little variety in entertainment or shows. Most of the music and entertainment focused exclusively on Bahamian music. I completely understand and appreciate showcasing Bahamian culture—we were in the Bahamas after all—but at an international resort, I expected a mixture of music and entertainment that would appeal to guests of different nationalities and tastes. During our stay, we only saw one special Bahamian carnival-style performance. Another issue for me personally was the resort’s smoking policy. I completely understand and respect not allowing smoking indoors or in areas where it could bother other guests. However, I found the policy excessively restrictive because smoking was also prohibited on balconies and in many outdoor areas, even when away from other guests. Smokers have to go to a specific designated area, which was inconvenient. Regarding the staff, only one or two employees really stood out for providing genuinely good service. Overall, customer service was one of the biggest disappointments of our stay. For all these reasons, I don’t believe the experience was worth what we paid. When I pay for an all-inclusive resort, I expect good customer service, a reasonable variety of food and drinks, entertainment, service around the pool and beach, and an overall experience that makes me want to stay at and enjoy the resort. Unfortunately, Breezes Nassau did not provide that experience for us. Positives: clean and comfortable room, quick check-in, clean and organized restaurants, and a beautiful beach with clear water. Negatives: customer service, limited and repetitive food and drinks, pool cleanliness and service, and the lack of entertainment. Final rating: 5/10. I would not return.

Fantastic
We booked this excursion with Carnival Cruise lines and were not disappointed. The resort was immaculate, the buffet had a lot to offer, and the service was fabulous. Lauren was our waitress for the day and she was such a joy. She was very attentive and took care of us all the way up to loading us back on the bus. We would definitely return!
