What We Love

  • The resort is just steps from the gorgeous white sands of Medano Beach, is a great place to pamper yourself.

Things to Know

  • Los Cabos and the resort offer something for everyone's vacation ideal: white beaches, world-class golf, thrilling nightlife in Cabo San Lucas and a spa.
It's the spectacular waterfall in the nine-story atrium lobby that first takes your breath away. This elegant structure is a fitting introduction to the luxury in store for you at this award-winning resort. Everywhere you look you see something special, from the seashell chandeliers to a salt-water aquarium. And, this is just the lobby. But that's not all. The resort is just a short walk away from numerous bars, shops and restaurants in Cabo. With the hotel perched along the safest and most popular swimming beach in the area, the powdery white sands of Medano Beach draw you to the shore. Feel the warmth of the tropical sun and breathe in the sea air as you take your place on the beach, spotting El Arco in the distance. This renowned rock formation across the bay is a dramatic silhouette against the blue sky.

Leaving the beach may be difficult, but when the sun is low on the horizon, it's time to think about dinner. Fortunately, you can savor the Los Cabos sunset from your beachside table at Bella California. Penne pasta with a creamy Mediterranean sauce composed of tomato, corn and capers is just one selection from a menu specializing in a fusion of Italian cuisine with California flair. The restaurant is the ideal spot for a romantic meal with your sweetie.

Be sure to reserve time during your stay to pamper yourself with an aromatherapy massage at the Desert Spa. This unique treatment incorporates essential oils from plants native to Baja California. Textures and fragrances of the Mexican desert come together in a delightful sensual experience that leaves you feeling rejuvenated. The 31,000-sq. ft. spa is in front of a sister property next door.

A trip to Mexico and Los Cabos isn't complete without an excursion to Cabo San Lucas. You can catch a taxi, but why not take the time to enjoy the 20-minute walk to this picturesque town square with 200-year-old buildings? After all, you're on vacation and there's no reason to hurry.

Disappointing All-Inclusive Experience — Would Not Return

I recently stayed at Villa del Palmar Cabo and, unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations. There were several issues that made the stay disappointing. One of the biggest surprises was that the beach is not directly accessible from the resort. To get to the beach area, you have to go through another resort. For a beach destination, I found this inconvenient and misleading, especially if you are expecting easy access to the beach from the property. The food was another major disappointment. There were very limited options for an all-inclusive resort, with only two restaurants consistently available. A third restaurant was only open Saturday through Tuesday. The food itself was also subpar in both taste and quality. I expected much more variety and better food for an all-inclusive resort. Another thing I found particularly annoying was having to sign every time we ordered food, drinks, or even water. It became tedious and unnecessary, especially at an all-inclusive property where everything is already included. The room service was also lacking. There was no shower gel in the room, and I had to call three separate times before it was finally provided. For the price of the resort, I expected basic toiletries to be stocked without having to repeatedly request them. Overall, I was disappointed with the experience. Between the limited food choices, subpar food, inconvenient beach access, repetitive signing for every order, and lack of basic room amenities, I don't feel the resort provided the quality or convenience I expected from an all-inclusive vacation. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again.

    Villa Del Palmar

This was an amazing experience. The hotel was great, the price was low and the staff was amazing. Thank you: Daniela, Mauricio, Bryan, Jeremy, Karla, Laura, Alana, Jack Jack for wonderful performances in the theater. Thank you to our waiters: Ray, Carlos and Oscar for your help in the theater and pool side service. A special thanks to the sea entrance security guard that made us feel safe at night and great conversation but we didn’t get his name.

    Great experience

This was our first time in Cabo and we had the best experience at Villa del Palmar. The hotel is beautiful, location is great, the food was amazing, and the service was exceptional. Everybody was so kind and attentive, but we really appreciate the effort that Isabel, Samuel, Vinny, and Carlos put to make our stay comfortable, as well as Laura, Albert, Mauricio, Jeremy, and all the entertainment staff, especially Jackson!!! We can't wait to be back. Thank you all for the great experience. Highly recommend this hotel.

    Fun times

Chloe was fun to play the games with. She was very personable and funny. It was a pleasure and I had so much fun. I was rushing down stairs to play the games with her and the crew. Tony was also a joy too. He made us laugh calling him Tony Pepperoni.
