We visited during rainy season so the hot springs were absolutely wonderful but always the midst of rain showers. We got to see the volcano covered in clouds after having breakfast which the buffet was a nice variety of American and Costa Rican favorites but the ATV tour we had during the day finished early due to pouring showers. The resort amenities and pristine locatio. are the main highlights - the room was spacious with the jacuzzi a huge plus when it got too rainy. Would come back in another season to enjoy the hot springs which is only a 5 minute walk from your room.

An Absolutely Beautiful and Perfect Stay!
EVERYTHING and EVERYONE at Arenal Kioro Suites and Spa exceeded all my expectations! This hotel is beyond beautiful - the suites are exquisite, the grounds are gorgeous, and the views are breathtaking! Every detail of our stay was perfect. Even before our arrival, reception arranged for our round trip transport from the airport. and some of our tours. We were greeted so graciously and warmly, with an overview of the hotel and facilities, along with a lovely beverage as well! When we walked into our suite we all said a collective "Wow - this is amazing!" We took advantage of all the wonderful thermal hot springs on the hotel property, the delicious restaurant cuisine, and the hot tub in our room! The beauty of the grounds will take your breath away, and I loved standing on the balcony every morning to take it all in! The entire hotel staff is professional, personal, attentive, caring, friendly and tremendously helpful. And it was so impressive how they all remembered our names as they inquired how our day was going. They went out of their way to provide the best service ever! I highly recommend Arenal Kioro Suites and Spa! I look forwarding to returning there again! Puro Vida!

The Kioro was in a really beautiful location near La Fortuna, very close to the volcano. The grounds were gorgeous and well maintained, and the hot springs were clean and beautiful. While the room was a little dated, it was huge, with high ceilings. While the hot tub in the room was a nice touch, you don't really need it with the hot springs on the property, and it was kind of loud during the night. Everyone at the hotel was really friendly and helpful. I would recommend the hotel for the location alone and the grounds made you not want to leave to go down the road to busy La Fortuna.

Beautiful Grounds and Outstanding Hospitality at Arenal Kioro
We enjoyed a three-night stay at Arenal Kioro and had a very pleasant experience. The grounds were beautifully maintained and created a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere with the surrounding natural beauty adding to the overall experience. The staff were one of the highlights of our stay. Everyone was friendly, personable, and welcoming. I especially appreciated that staff members remembered me and addressed me by name whenever we crossed paths, which made the experience feel more personalized and warm. The room was comfortable and matched the photos shown online. The layout was different from what I was used to, but it was exactly as represented, so there were no surprises. The bed was decent and provided a comfortable place to rest after exploring the area. The breakfast was decent, with enough options to start the day. Also loved having Tito’s hot springs available as an amenity at the hotel. Overall, Arenal Kioro provided a relaxing stay with beautiful surroundings, excellent hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere. The genuine friendliness of the staff truly stood out and made our three-night stay enjoyable.
