An amazing experience! Definitely I will go back whenever I go to Huatulco. Good service, good food and a lot of entertainment. Plus, everyone was really nice and very professional. I went during the Guelaguetza time and they offered shows related to this important party and they make shows related to it and the vibes were cool. Definitely the best hotel in Huatulco and even in the whole Oaxacan coast.

Wonderful stay at this beautiful resort!
I have been staying at the Barcelo Huatulco for the past 6 years, once or twice a year. Either traveling with my husband or traveling with just my mom. We were very fortunate to make it twice this year (February and July 2026). Always comfortable, clean, nice, and quiet. I get a little chair for the shower for Mom to use. We had room 233 this time! Beautiful room, roomy for an extra small bed for Mom's helper! The front desk and the bell boys are wonderful! The help with the wheelchair is very much appreciated! The hotel lets me borrow the wheelchair, and I can take my mom to the beach area, to the room to refresh, to Doña Rosa or Tortuga Restaurants, La Fontana or Agave. Thanks a million!!!!! The food is wonderful! Shout out to the girls who make those delicious omelettes at Doña Rosa! Thank you so much Abi, Anastasio, Lucy, Octavio, Cirilo, Selso, Manuel, Manet, Jimena, José, Reyes, Lety, Adelina, Mane, Cruz, Samuel. Mr. Zapata, etc. (I apologize for not adding all the names) We were very lucky this time to be able to enjoy La Guelaguetza at the hotel! We enjoyed every minute of it! Thank you so much for helping me make my mom's stay so comfortable! Coming back soon!!!

Worst experience in 20 years of traveling and staying in all inclusive resorts. Food was cold several times.

Yael is a very nice person,always makes sure everyone is included in the activities and explain all the rules . He is very friendly and funny !

Mediocre
Mediocre hotel. Pay a little more and have a better stay elsewhere. The food wasn’t great, the way they “resolve” issues, isn’t great. The only great thing about this place is the excellent job housekeeping does.
