Great location
Tremendous location and service. Staff here and at sister property were all excellent. Tua at the pool bar was awesome. Also have to recognize Antonio who is quiet but his customer service is excellent. He went out of his way to help us with our luggage at arrival and departure. First trip to San Pedro. The people of Belize are quite honorable, friendly, and honest.

Fabulous resort!
Beautiful quiet resort Nice big apartments with large balconies , Great air conditioning, comfy beds, HBO and kitchens. Easy to get drinks and food at the bar or walk across the road or down the beach to the coco resort. San Pedro town is about 20 mins away via golf cart and secret beach about 25 via golf cart. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The staff do a great job every day clearing the sargassum or sea weed from the beach. It does smell a little bit -more when there is wind and no rain but not a lot. Secret beach does not have the sea weed and you can sit in the sea with a cocktaiil. The resort and hotel is really beautiful and belize is just great - and- relax!! Weather in mid July - some windy rainy days or times of the day but not the whole day.

Perfection in a Resort!
We had an amazing honeymoon at Belizean Shores Resort. From the moment we arrived (and during the entire planning process), everyone was extremely helpful and kind. Every employee in reception, housekeeping, bar, and groundskeeping was fantastic and friendly. Our room was stunning, directly on the water. There was great AC, a comfortable large bed, fantastic patio, a small kitchenette, and great amenities. My husband liked that he could watch the Phillies on the tv in the room at night! The pool and grounds were great. The pool was kept clean and was a good temperature. The flora is up kept beautifully. The in-pool bar was my husband’s favorite part lol. Shout out to Tua, the amazing bartender. He was genuinely a caring and nice person - we loved talking to him and we thank him for his recommendations and kindness! We did 2 tours with Tuff E Nuff right off of the dock in front of our room. We did a half day snorkeling tour & Altun Ha temple tour. Both were fantastic. Our guides were very knowledgeable about the species and history they were showing us. We got food from Coco Blanca delivered to the room multiple times and it was good! Our favorites were the stew chicken & beef fajitas. We felt perfectly safe the entire trip both inside and outside of the resort. Antonio, the security guard, was another friendly face we enjoyed chatting with. We would love to come back in the future, and will highly recommend this resort to anyone. Thank you Belizean Shores!

Watch Your Belongings at this Odd Resorr
Watch your belongings - We stayed for three nights and the best way to describe the resort is just odd. First, it rained one day and our shoes got soaked so we left them to dry in the front of our room. My wife’s shoes were stolen. When we told the front desk, the reaction was sorry, we will look out for, but the attitude was really who cares, this happens. The room was nice, but be aware that the resort has no food. The closest place to eat is their sister resort next door (which is a 2 minute walk, no big deal). The food was overpriced and only fair. The taco bar night had tasty shrimp, but the meat was inedible. There was also a scheduled power outage from 6 am to 11 am one morning. The only notice was a sign posted inside reception on the front desk. If I did not walk in for a clean towel, we never would have known. I saw several guests who had no idea. Why would they slide a simple piece of paper under everyone’s door to notify them. It was simply lazy and showed a lack of caring about their guests. We stayed three nights and were told at check-in the room cleaning is every other day. No problem. Well three plus days there and no one came to clean at all. The resort needs to pay attention to the small details that effect the overall experience.

Lovely condo with good amenities
While pricier than I expected, you do get a large room (the sofa bed was quite uncomfortable, but the primary bed, excellent), with great amenities at the resort. There is not a restaurant on site, but they'll bring food for lunch and dinner for you from a neighbor hotel. A small cafe across the street serves breakfast. The staff was accommodating and kind. Definitely rent a golf cart from town if you stay here.
