Great Staff!
The hotel is beautiful and some of the staff were so nice and made our stay very wonderful! Santiago at the Jungle bar always made sure we had our drinks. He is so hardworking and kind. He made our trip very nice! Benjamin in entertainment was so much fun and great and entertaining guests! We went on a hike with him and took his Zumba class. He is very friendly and makes everyone happy!

Excellent stay at Delta Hotels Riviera Nayarit
We had a very good stay at Delta at the end of August. The resort is beautiful, relaxing, and a great place to spend a vacation. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. We also really enjoyed the food - there was a great variety of options, so there was always something different to try. A special mention to Chef Luis Pier, who really made our dining experience memorable. His pasta was absolutely amazing - one of the highlights of our stay! Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this resort. We would be happy to come back again!

Don’t Waste Your Money
Let me start by saying the resort itself is beautiful. That’s all it has going for it! 1. Food. It’s like going to the school cafeteria. Chicken nuggets and fries everyday. I got all excited when I saw chicken wings one night. They will serve all the previous dinner for breakfast the next day. Taco guy at dinner and 1 out 2 omelette makers at breakfast were saving me from eating junk at their buffet. 1 Japanese restaurant (1 booking allowed) was ok except the air conditioning never worked. This made the experience awful because you are in front of the grill. We left before finishing dinner. 2. Service. Sucks! You couldn’t care any less than these people serving you. You could tip them 10 ounces of gold and it won’t change. Not sure what’s up with that one. Maybe they aren’t allowed to keep the tips? They all look at you like you’re bothering them. There were a few exceptions of course, but maybe 3 -4 people total. 3. Golf carts. It’s a joke! I think they only have 4 carts on the whole resort. if your room is not near the lobby, have fun getting around! Doesn’t matter how fit you are or want to be, you’ll hate it. There’s iguana poop everywhere! You’ll get an Uber faster at the LA airport than a cart at this place. 4. Pest control. It’s really good! Cause they fumigate the entire place every morning at 8am with the most toxic crap you can imagine. If even after reading my review, and you decide to ignore my warning, don’t leave your room (near tower 6 especially) until after 8:45am. It looks like London Fog for 20-40 minutes every morning. It’s brutal! 5. A guy named Claudio. “The Wedding Planner!” If you are planning to get married here, just don’t. Stay far far away! The wedding planner named Claudio will ruin your vacation and your wedding in very short order. It makes sense that a 1 star resort would hire a 1 star employee like Claudio. He only has 1 mission. To make your life as miserable as possible! TRUST ME! STAY AWAY!

Resort was ok but wedding coordinator was a problem
Resort itself was beautiful but not very walkable for someone who issues with mobility or disabilities. Food was ok not great. It was the same food at both buffets. Most of the staff was kind and helpful but the wedding coordinator (Claudio) was rude and demanding money. Asking the bride, groom and their families for money on the day of the wedding for things that were rained on when he acknowledged that it was raining and gave no other plan for the ceremony for the wedding was really shady and very rude. They also were not reachable when needed. We had an issue upon check in where they could not find our payment and were asking all of us to pay an additional cost

Not a great experience.
I’ve been to many resorts in Mexico, this was my worst experience by far. We had a difficult time checking- in. That was the first red flag. Reception area was crowded and hot. Transportation to your room a very slow process. Our room was modern and spacious, I have no complaints about that. Restaurants are limited. The Japanese restaurant was probably the nicest experience, but it was uncomfortable due to no air conditioner. It was brutally hot especially with the chef making food right on top of you with flames 🔥. The staff and chef were pleasant and entertaining making the best of an uncomfortable situation. The food at the 2 other areas was mediocre, no variety, mostly the same food every day. Getting to the beach is a chore, the beach area not great at all. Being transported back and forth is not great for a vacation. There are better resorts. Not much entertainment. If you just want a hotel experience with a pool and drinks, this will probably suffice. Some of the staff are great, but most are unfriendly, and unhelpful. Overall we will not return.
