Very bad experience at Dreams Curacao Resort Spa & Casino
The location of the hotel was great, but the room was outdated and in need of maintenance. The furniture was chipped, the bathtub was peeling, and the TV was not working. The air conditioning in the room was also not functioning properly. After several complaints, the hotel provided three electric fans, but they were not sufficient to keep the room cool. The overall atmosphere was pleasant, and the room itself was clean. However, housekeeping services were consistently provided very late in the afternoon. The noise level was reasonable, and the amenities were adequate. The selection of drinks in the minibar was very limited. On a positive note, the Wi-Fi worked well throughout our stay. Room service was disappointing, with delivery times ranging from one to two hours, and the food often arrived cold. In addition, the meals lacked flavor and seasoning. The staff was friendly and did their best to assist us. However, management did not take any meaningful steps to address the situation. An upgrade to another room was neither offered nor made available, as we were informed that the hotel was fully booked. The only compensation provided for the inconvenience was a voucher. Overall, the experience did not provide good value for the price paid, and we would not consider it worth the money. We would recommend choosing another hotel.

Definitely don't purchase a membership. Stay away from that. Staff excellent. Resort small and pleasant
We made reservations for this vacation to Curacao Dreams Resort and Spa on September 18, 2025 for stay from August 19 to 26, 2026 . Our membership is White Pearl. Our reservation was for White Pearl unlimited access certificate nights. At the time of the reservation this resort was preparing an adult only section which we were looking forward to as we normally do not stay at family resorts. On our reservation we had the option to upgrade to the next category unit within our membership level which included the adults only section. We were greeted by the membership team when we arrived. They were very pleasant and were very helpful. However, when we asked to be upgraded to the adults only section we were told it was not available, which meant by definition it was sold out, or they refused to upgrade us. We were told that we had the best thing there was to offer with a fantastic view and excellent accommodations. We were considered Premier Members at this resort, and treated as such by the majority of the staff and member services. However, this is not what happened, a lot of times. We were advised at breakfast by a hostess, Gizzell I believe her name was, that there was a preferred member breakfast and lunch, menu option at the Ocean Restaurant every day. The next day we tried to go to the Ocean Restaurant for breakfast, when we arrived we were told by a rude host that they were closed for a private event and we had to go back to the buffet restaurant, even though we told him we were preferred members. We went back to the buffet restaurant and were told by a rude hostess whose name I don’t remember, to go back to the Ocean restaurant again even after we explained what happened when we went to the Ocean restaurant. A manager, Hugo, helped us at that time. Late in the day the day before, or early that day a large group of people had arrived which all wore green shirts and were obviously a convention of people. We did find out later it was an insurance group, the majority from Granada. After they arrived our status as premier members went to being guests with a much lesser status, with much less priviIeges. Our concierge, Sinai, who was very helpful to begin with, helped us with various problems which we encountered throughout our stay. These problems included, never having our room cleaned until she intervened one day. This was a daily occurrence of never having the room cleaned even when the cleaning staff stood outside our door talking among themselves not working. This problem continued throughout our stay. A noise problem during night time when we had gone to bed. This was an occurrence multiple nights. Loud music, loud people until at least 10:30 at night. The party was directly below our room balcony where the outdoor lobby was located. Considering this to be a family resort with young children this was unacceptable, as it was with us. Our room phone never worked until the last day of our stay even though we reported it numerous times. This made it impossible for us to call anyone regarding the noise, house cleaning and later when a doctor was needed because of a fall, and a doctor had been called. The restaurants were inadequate to say the least. The Italian and Ocean were excellent but had limited menus that never changed. The Buffet was supposed to be open every night, but was NOT. It was non-existent for a dinner menu except for special events or ones you had to pay exorbitant amounts for which were not worth it. It did have a decent buffet for breakfast. The “Steak House”, Crafty Iguana, was not a steakhouse but a low class craft brewery, with undesirable appetizers, and had a rancid smell. The menu for steak consisted of a “Seaside steak salad”, which had no steak, beef soup with beef chunks, hamburger empanadas, a beef tenderloin which was a piece of roast. The bar staff, which included Ray, Aisha, Corine, Micheangelo, Roy and others whose names I have forgotten were among the many staff who were at the lobby and pool bars, and some servers at the morning buffet who took excellent care of us. I would not return to this resort considering our treatment and the allowance by part of the staff and management to give preference and priority to the convention people and treat us as if we were no longer members. Don’t waist your time on a membership purchase. Since purchasing our membership this is the first time we have used our membership for a stay at a Hyatt member resort. We were not impressed. Sinai was helpful up until the last day when she and her co-workers were going to try and meet with us to sell us additional benefits. During our stay Sinai informed us and said that she wanted to meet with us before we left as we had parts of our membership either going to expire or needed to be upgraded. Obviously, this meant that they were going to try and upsell us again for some reason or other and expect us to pay additional money toward our membership. Which obviously considering our stay and treatment this was not going to happen. We were to meet Sinai at 8:30 in the lobby on our departure date but she had an unexpected problem and was running late. She called and demanded to know when we could meet one of her co-workers. We therefore went for breakfast at the Ocean (preferred members) restaurant and were treated with disrespect again by the hostess and waitress. The hostess told us we were not on the preferred list and was very disrespectful. It took forever to get our breakfast and the waitress never came back to see if we needed anything additional. We were met by Macy in the lobby after breakfast. We explained what happened at breakfast. She became very upset when we told her what had happened at breakfast. She was very kind, listened and went to see about what happened, apologized for the treatment. She then bid us goodbye, and hoped she would see us again on a future visit. I will probably not return to this resort considering our treatment by most of the staff and member services, with the exception of the aforementioned staff, this was a very unpleasant experience.

Dream Resort, Curaco
The beach and pool is the best things about this resort. Everything else needs improvement, from room updates to the food, which isn't very tasty. The beach is absolutely gorgeous.

Genuine Hospitality
I would like to sincerely thank everyone at Dreams Hotel for your kindness and hospitality during my stay. During my stay at Dreams hotel my mother had a stroke which left her unable to speak or walk. This was incredible difficult and emotional time for my family. My family had to return home and I was left alone at the resort. The staff at dreams were genuinely concerned about me and my mother. They checked on me everyday and made sure I was ok during this difficult situation. The staff was very supportive and compassionate. I especially want to thank Jurickson for consistently checking on my family, assisting me with my extended stay and showing genuine concern for what I was going through. His kindness meant more to me than I can express. Thank you all for your understanding, compassion, kindness, and exceptional hospitality. I will always remember how you made me feel during on of the most difficult times in my life.

Uncomfortably Hot and Extremely Disappointing
The AC in this hotel is basically nonexistent, which made the entire stay uncomfortable. Curaçao is already extremely hot, so coming back to a hotel room where you still can’t cool down or relax is unacceptable. A functioning AC should be one of the most basic expectations at a resort in this climate. Beyond that, there were just so many small details that were overlooked throughout the property, and altogether they made the experience feel poorly managed and not worth the money. The hotel has potential, but the lack of attention to basic comfort really ruined it for me. The food was also very mediocre. I didn’t enjoy much of what I ate, and nothing really stood out as memorable or worth looking forward to. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. When you’re on vacation, you should at least be able to come back to your room, cool off, eat a decent meal, and be comfortable. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.
