Dreams have ruined this wonderful hotel
I am late writing this review. Even though I do feel for Jamaica with hurricane Melissa I do have to write an honest review. To start there was no welcome drink. Check in we were told it was extra to go to the three palms this used to be included. If you lose your wristband it’s also costs a lot of money to get a replacement. This was my third stay and my partners fifth stay. We will not be coming back now dreams have taken over. We had to change rooms as there was a hole in the wall and a broken balcony window next door. No coffee facilities. No toilet roll holder was attached to the wall. The room was not cleaned one day. Food has really gone down hill and most days struggled to find something to eat in the evening. There was so much choice with Hilton. The seaside grill with the best view is no longer open during the day. No food at the pool bar anymore. To much chlorine in the pool it striped the Coating off my Pandora bracelet. Staff did not care even though this was a lot of money due to the charms and also very sentimental. Staff look like they given up and do not listen except for Jodie macaroni who was amazing such a lovely lady. If you are a smoker there are only a few places you can smoke which are not sign posted. Even though you can smoke Shisha at the bar which has nicotine in and tobacco which they charge £60 dollars for. It’s seems as long as the hotel Makes money off you it’s fine. Always getting hounded by sales people to go on trips or by playa sales people saying they can do you a great deal. This didn’t happen before. No information pack in the room. No straws so it makes drinks hard to drink. Yet everything is served in plastic cups. Also a lot of plastic soft drinks and water bottles used I don’t get how this makes sense if you are trying to help the environment.

Amazing- even in the face of a natural disaster!
My family and I traveled to Jamaica the same weekend Hurricane Melissa hit, and despite the circumstances, our stay was absolutely amazing! The staff at Dreams Rose Hall Resort & Spa were professional, engaging, and always willing to help. Little did we know, everyone’s patience and faith would be tested when the hurricane canceled flights, leaving our family stranded for over a week. Even in the midst of the storm, the resort team never wavered in their commitment to excellence. They maintained the same high level of service, care, and attention to detail that made our initial experience so special. As a business owner myself, I know how difficult it is to remain organized and composed during a crisis—especially one of this magnitude. Yet Dreams Rose Hall Resort & Spa operated with a level of calm, coordination, and professionalism that truly stood out. I am forever grateful for our stay, the wonderful memories we created, and the experience we shared as a family in our beautiful country of Jamaica. While recovery from Hurricane Melissa will take time and effort, Dreams Rose Hall Resort & Spa will always hold a special place in our family’s heart.

Leadership Has Run Down This Resort.
Sadly, this resort has really gone downhill and really has nothing to do with switching from Hilton to Hyatt as all the same leadership is in place. They are solely responsible for the decline. First, Ingrid, Director of Guest Experience, takes DAYS to reply to email as does her staff which is not "exceptional" service. Leadership does not hold staff accountable either. Resort staff walks by tons of used drink glasses left around the waterpark and doesn't bother to pick them up or clean up. Only 1 out of 4 days did any staff member get in the pool to strain the leaves and bugs out of the pool. Lifeguards are more interested in being on their phone or talking to the ladies rather than taking a moment to pick up trash laying around. The pool side entertainment is NOT family friendly. Daily ass shaking contests were done where girls were grinding the rails of the pool while young kids were swimming. We rented cabanas daily ($115). Each morning, we either had an empty soda bottle or used dental pic laying in our area. There was a long screw coming out of the ledge of the pool bar where you order drinks that was an injury ready to happen. I told staff about it on day one and by day four it was still there. Noone cared. We have been there many times and so sad the leadership of this once amazing resort has allowed this to happen. If they had a team that actually cared about guest experience and attention to detail, it would be amazing.
