Aug 27, 2026Almost a very good family vacations!!!
We had a big incident with a water leakage that forced us to move out of the room, additionally of the incident there was a very rude way that the concierge requested to move out to another room, our room was a master room with a private pool and on from the sea, as first option they offered us the same room bot different level which accepted, after 5 minutes they changed and they gave two option, move us to secrets, or to a shared pool room, I have a Down Syndrome Daughter which is a very shy lady that is why we always go to Dreams resorts, to not be discriminated, why do they change the first option that they offered and we accepted?. At the end and thanks to the Brandon assistance we accepted the shared pool room, Brandon; the Superviser Consierge offered us a refund for the extra payment made. So far we have not received this refund and are still waiting for it.

Our stay here was out of this world. The restaurants are better than many restaurants I can afford in Canada. We went for our honeymoon and were left wanting nothing more from our vacation. The bartenders, waiters, housekeeping, and general staff were primarily concerned with our well-being throughout the entirety of the trip. We would absolutely recommend to anyone looking at doing their honeymoon somewhere. The Dreams is not adult only but it did not diminish our experience as there are several adult only restaurants and activities to do. We would love to come back in the future!

Definitely a 4.5 star and would return.
Amazing and very professional staff in the International restaurant(buffet): Alana Garcia, Enrique Gi, Alajandro and Alajandra Landaverde. Now Amber is the family side of Secrets but in February there was minimal children and they all seemed to be under 5 yrs old.

Amazing !
Hi 👋 my experience here was very good. The attention we got from our UVC Concierge Isasti Alberto Juarez was amazing ! He was checking on us everyday to see what we needed what issues we were having and how to solve them the best that he could. We also had a chef Erick from carnival cafe buffet in the mornings who treated us amazing. He went above and beyond our expectations. Anything we needed he was the guy. From the perfected area around the 6x floor the only issue was that we didn’t get the nightly set up routine 3 days out of the 6 nights we were there. That was my only issue.

Wedding and Vacation
We had our wedding at Dreams/Secrets, and we truly could not have asked for a better experience! We had a group of about 50 family members ranging in age from 3 to 70, and this resort was perfect for everyone. We loved that our guests had the option to stay on either the Dreams or Secrets side depending on what they preferred. Our wedding coordinator, Celeste, was absolutely wonderful. One of the best parts of the entire experience was how much the hotel took care of for us. Planning a destination wedding can feel overwhelming, but they made the process so easy and allowed us to truly enjoy our special day. We took a leap of faith because we had never visited the resort before our wedding. We chose it based on recommendations and pictures, and honestly, the pictures don't even do this place justice! It was absolutely beautiful. We also loved the location. Being in the city gave us the opportunity to leave the property for excursions, shopping, and exploring, while still feeling extremely safe. Everyone we encountered was so welcoming, kind, and helpful. Our stay was wonderful, our wedding was absolutely beautiful, and the food and accommodations were fantastic. From our family members to our wedding guests, everyone had an amazing time. We are so thankful we took that leap of faith and chose Dreams/Secrets for such an important moment in our lives. We would absolutely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a beautiful destination wedding or vacation!
