Absolutely relaxing and chill week at Fiesta Americana. The staff was amazing. I was greeted immediately by Luis (my concierge) and Pascual. They got me set-up for and took care of me throughout the week. Great guys!!! When they were not around Erik and Luis stepped in. The wait staff was spectacular: Jose, Manuel, and Selena. Fernanda always set me up at a great table and. Every morning Bartolomeo welcomed me with a smile as he hooked me up with an excellent cappuccino to get me ready for scuba action. Other great staff are Hilda (lifeguard), Martin (bellhop) and Anahi (front desk). The room was faced the ocean and was always clean. I choose Fiesta Americana because of its location. It was away from the cruise ships and a taxi ride away from downtown. I specifically asked for a room on the left or right wings of the hotel to avoid distracting noise. The hotel has several restaurants. At least three require a reservation. All served great food. I forgot to mention Alex. He was responsible for booking offsite adventures. He was able to get me a rental car for a day. I high recommend staying at the Fiesta Americana.

Hospitality at the best level
It was our first time at Fiesta Americana. Very high hospitality and professionalism from all the staff. Our checkin experience was very pleasant, we were assigned a concierge that explained us the hotel amenities and took care of all the reservations for us. We spend all the time at the beach. It was the best spot for snorkeling in Cozumel right on the hotel beach. It’s not a sandy beach, but it was even better, because there was no algae, the water was clean. The beach area had all we need: Balinese beds (available), beach chairs, cevicheria bar, grill bar, buffet, waiter service ( thanks to Aaron). No need to wake up early to reserve a bed or a chair. It had even a mini pool . The hotel was very clean. We appreciated a lot starting the day with a good Ice cappuccino at the Coffee corner. The food exceeded our expectations, very tasty and very well presented. The service was exceptional. Very polite and considerate. It is a small hotel so at the end of our stay we knew all the staff and we had a nice feeling of home. The room was very clean but a little updated. The air conditioning was a little loud but we were being used to that. All the rooms had oceanview so it was nice to wake up and look at the ocean and in the evening to see the sunset. Overalls, very nice experience.

Aug 15, 2026Small resort with great staff and subpar food
We had access to the FA through the explorean for the week. It is a smaller resort so the activities were not typically heavily attended. The upside is pool loungers always available, and not long waits at the bars for service. Staff were always visibly attending to the property, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, etc and they were all friendly. The downside was the food. Not all restaurants were open each night, they did put out a sign in the morning by the pool showing which ones were open that evening. The Asian and Mexican restaurants were good enough but not unique or fantastic. We didn’t try the sushi place. The fish tacos at the beach were amazing and the buffet for breakfast was solid. However, all four in our group got food poisoning at the Italian place. We were sick until we got home and were able to get the specific parasite identified and treated. Other reviewers also mentioned food poisoning from the Italian restaurant so wanted to add to that data for others. The evening shows were fun. Morning stretching at the pool was a nice activity too. The food poisoning was a huge downer for our week though. Avoid rosato.

Best hotel in Cozumel!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The hotel room was amazing and the atmosphere was exciting in the view is beautiful. Very relaxing stay! They also had great activities and staff around the building.
