Sep 05, 2026Would I consider this hotel the next time in Cartagena? I don’t think so…
Unable to regulate air conditioning low temperatures as a result both my wife and I got sick. Lunch and dinner menus were very limited in options. Great customer service

Lovely hotel in a good location in Bocagrande by the beach. Friendly and helpful staff. A very good on-site restaurant San Marina. Breakfast room serving excellent choice buffet 6.30-10am Rooftop swimming pool with poolside bar /sunloungers Spacious, clean room with a large balcony and excellent views directly of the sea - the sunsets are amazing ☀️ A very relaxing and enjoyable stay, thank you very much ;)

Good Hotel by Bocagrande Beach
Lovely hotel in a good location in Bocagrande by the beach. Friendly and helpful staff. A very good on-site restaurant San Marina. Rooftop swimming pool. Spacious, clean room with a large balcony and views directly of the sea. A very relaxing and enjoyable stay muchss gracias ;)

Mar 01, 2026BAD FOOD BIT THE SERVICE WAS WORSE
The capilla used to be a nice boutique hotel. It is now a low class establishment. While trying to access the hotel’s restaurant with a wheelchair, we were told the chair lift was broken. Had to walk down stairs The food was bad (ordered fish fillet and fish in a seafood sauce) but the service was worse. The fish was so overcooked but when we complained, we were this is how they cook it. It was the edible. Also, the beer we were ordered didn’t come out until we kept asking and it was well after the inedible food arrived.

They should have more nice umbrellas at the beach , they are old, dirty and uncomfortable;
