    Good at everything, exceptional at breakfast

    Lovely hotel just across the street from beach access. (Tip: There’s another spiffier, well traveled beach access just a block away, too). Breakfast is far-and-away the star of the show here! I had read reviews mentioning the outstanding breakfast buffet, but I wasn’t prepared for how good it was. Menu options change daily, but always included chilaquiles, two meat dishes (e.g., beef stew, shredded chicken, menudo), beans, three fresh fruits (in addition to the ubiquitous bananas and apples), a yogurt and chia pudding bar, a salad bar, etc. in addition to the standard hotel fare of eggs, muffins, etc. And it was good food, too! Truly exceptional.

    One night stay before flying home

    Excellent hotel. Room was clean. The lobby was inviting. Great breakfast and courteous employees. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

    Great stay with great customer service!

    Such a nice hotel and staff was excellent! I would stay here anytime and really did not want to leave. From the service to the food selection--everything was top tier! Thanks Hyatt Place Los Cabos! I will be back!

    Fantastic stay

    Fantastic place! Great service, comfortable rooms, friendly staff! Fantastic food and great location. Short walk to the beach. Hotel was so clean and the pool was the perfect temperature. Sad to be leaving!

    Hyatt Place, a great option when staying in San Jose del Cabo

    My wife and I traveled to Baja California, San Jose del Cabo and La Paz, in early May. We stayed at the Hyatt Place in San Jose del Cabo for 7 nights. Clean rooms, flawless housekeeping and, a warm and friendly front desk and restaurant staff. The friendliness of everyone on staff was noticeable. Our stay Included a beautiful breakfast buffet and the restaurant also has excellent dinner options. After spending our day’s at nearby beaches, we decided to eat at the hotel several times. There is a nice long happy hour there from 3 – 7 pm with drink specials like 2 for 1 margarita’s and pina colada’s. We found guacamole and chips and fish and shrimp tacos to be outstanding! The hotel provides a beach umbrella and chairs for free. Located about five minutes away from the city center closer to the Sea of Cortez, Hyatt Place offered a perfect springboard location to corridor beaches and snorkeling spots including Playa Palmilla, Playa Chileno and Playa Santa Maria.
