Sep 05, 2026Amazing experience - highly recommend
We had an amazing time at Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos. We were there during the off season and had one short tropical storm hit during our stay but it came and went pretty quickly and the staff had things up and running again within a day. The specialty restaurants were only open for dinner but they were all great - highly recommend the Mexican place (El Molino - trust me, do NOT skip taco night on Tuesdays), Dozo (fun teppanyaki show), Manila (perfect level of spice for Indian food), and Farina e Olio (excellent pizza, pasta flavors spot on). There are a bunch of activities available every day and you can see them all ahead of time on the schedule on their app - I recommend aqua cycling (super fun, Angel was a great instructor so much so that we signed up for two more sessions after our first session with him) and, if you have some time, partake in some classes (we did a mixology class and a guacamole making class with Giselle and she brought such good vibes we would recommend any class she teaches). We had a swim up room and would recommend it for sure. We were club level and I think we were supposed to have a person to check in on us (as another person traveling with us did for her room) but we never heard from him/her during our stay. Overall had an excellent time and would definitely go again. Special shout out for the hot tubs that are ocean facing.

Great Experience at Ziva!
We had a wonderful time at the Hyatt Ziva. The grounds were beautiful and super clean. The food was great and we loved all the options. What really set this property apart was the staff. Their kindness was genuine and you could tell they really loved where they work. It makes a huge impact in the feel of the property. A couple specific shout outs - We looked forward to seeing Margarita every morning at breakfast! Ricardo took care of us most mornings and knew exactly how I like my coffee after the first day. Geene managed the hibachi/sushi restaurant and even brought us a special dessert. Everyone was really great about dietary restrictions and I was really comfortable eating and knowing I wasn't going to get sick. Eddie was our concierge and he made sure we had all the information we needed and even offered to escort us to dinner when I wasn't sure where one particular restaurant was. The service was incredible and the space was so nice and relaxing!

Easy and relaxing cabo spot
Great resort that is clean and conveniently located from airport and to downtown San Jose del Cabo. Staff was very friendly and food and beverages were good. Pool staff was really friendly and always made sure I had what I needed. An unexpected highlight of the trip was the entertainment programming especially Aqua Zumba taught by Armando. He had so much energy and I enjoyed the first class so much, I made sure to go the other time during my trip. Definitely recommend fitting in Aqua Zumba during your pool days!

Best Anniversary Trip!!!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos. Everything was excellent, but what truly made our vacation so special was the incredible staff. From the moment we arrived, Raul Palafox at the Club check-in made us feel so welcome. He was kind, professional, attentive, and made sure we started our vacation feeling completely taken care of. We also want to give a very special thank you to Beto from the Breakfast Buffet, Margarita- the hostess at the Buffet, greeted us with friendliness and warmth, Gigi and Daniela from activities made our trip FUN, Adriana our server at the Steakhouse , and Jorge our server at the French restaurant. Each one of them made an impression on us with their kindness, wonderful service, and genuine hospitality. They didn’t just provide great service—they made us feel like valued guests. The resort itself is beautiful, the food was excellent, and everything was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed every part of our stay, but it was the people who made the experience unforgettable.
