Margaritaville needs to do better.
When we walked into our condo, there was a musty smell and we found cock roaches in the silverware drawer. This was our 4th trip to Margaritaville, St Thomas. The food was good and and the staff was friendly and helpful. It is a convenient location.

Great location. Bad Smell.
The villas are spacious. The resort is located by what I feel is the best beach on the island in Coki Beach.. Very close to the ferry if you plan on taking a day trip to St John’s. The only and major issue is the smell. The sargassum is unbearable. Other beaches had seaweed but this smell was insane

Disappointing
Staying here was a disappointing experience. They tell you that the seaweed is a problem, but they don't tell you that the entire resort smells disgusting because of it. There were cracked floors and rusted fixtures both in my room and around the resort. The pools opened at 8am, but there were no pool towels available until 10am or later. The service was average, at best. I had mobility issues and had to repeatedly call for a golf cart and had long waits. I do not recommend and won't be back.

Unbearable seaweed smell
The smell of seaweed was unbearable! We actually tried to switch Wyndham properties because it was that unpleasant. We stayed two weeks and though the staff is all great, I think they know that the seaweed really hurts the resort. We had a car and went all over the island, for some reason, the smell was only bad at this resort. The resort needs to clean it up daily during the seaweed season. The restaurant was at the waters edge and just reeked of the smell. The room was ok and good size but you couldn’t open the patio door because of that smell. The rooftop pool bar was our only escape because it was high enough to get away from the smell. All the rooms are up the hillside. So you have to take golf cart rides from staff to get to your room, which can lead to lines waiting at times. Even the locals we interacted with said they hold their nose when driving by this resort.
