The stay started out great. Quick service on adding one night at the front end under a different reservation and they combined the two so I wouldn't have to check out and back in again. The room was spacious and bathroom was oversized. The restaurant food and service were better than average but not spectacular. We only ate breakfast on one day and lunch on another. Most of our meals were elsewhere with friends. Unfortunately, we had to change rooms due to a water issue. The new room was okay but much smaller with a blocked view of the water and roosters that started at 4:00 am. The shower had weak water pressure, was stained and took forever to heat up. The property did provide a rebate/discount due to the room swap which should have happened anyway. Overall, a good stay and convenient location to the ferry (easy walking distance), car rental (inside the lobby), great restaurants, and central on the island for day trips.

Pro Central location near shops and restaurants Helpful staff Sea views Restaurant available (no breakfast included) Cons Dated, the hotel is tired and old Expensive, for the price you would expect more, even if you were in a big city Water pressure, is non existent, even after my room was changed there was barely enough trickle to have a shower.

Fantastic stay with even better staff!
What amazing staff!! We booked an ocean view king room and were happily impressed with its cleanliness and size. It was well appointed and spacious, with a massive balcony that gave us a full view of the beautiful sea. We had booked two nights prior to a seven day sail and had originally booked a different property for when we returned after sailing. We were so happy with the excellent service, amenities and proximity of this establishment that we canceled that hotel, and rebooked at Maria’s by the Sea. The front desk staff were amazing - attentive, personable and so helpful. The restaurant offered wonderful and delicious choices for every time of day or night and had fantastic and attentive staff. Even the housekeeping staff that we countered in the hallway were very friendly and helpful. The pool is lovely and very clean, bar staff is great and it was easy to get transportation to and from wherever we were going. I definitely recommend this exceptional property! Staff is 10/10!

We stayed a couple of nights, initially in a basic town facing room. The rooms are all large but in our first room the bathroom was a little dated - and we couldn't get any hot water. We were immediately moved to a room with a sea view - which was a super bonus with a lovely balcony. Bed was comfy. The hotel is very convenient for using the ferries and the outlook from the restaurant and rooms is lovely. Small pool was a bonus. Room had a coffee maker, fridge and microwave.
