Was at Hotel Riu Ocho Rios with my family. I must say it was so satisfying and relaxing and kids didn't want to go back home. From the large and clean rooms to the buffet style meals and restaurants. The clean and very accessible beach, the multiple clean pools and of all the wonderful staff.... it was all worth it and this is why I choose Riu Hotels over and over. Its always a great experience being at Riu with family, friends or even solo... I can attest to that. Great jobs guys, keep up the great work

FAMILY VACATION 2026
Family of 8. Rio Ocho Rious owes me nothing. We had a blast. All staff were nice and friendly. The jerk chicken at the jerk hut was lit and the Jamaican breakfast never failed the dinner is okay. The rooms clean modern and comfy. Overall the stay was pleasing. We will be visiting again soon

Excellent, only issues were lock for a/c activation on sliding door falls apart, pluf on nightstand beside bed did not work. 650 credit is a scam they said coupons and minimal discounts on overeprices services, very misleading.

Fantastic Family Stay at Ocho Rios
5/5 Stars – Absolutely Fantastic Family Stay at Riu Ocho Rios!We had an amazing 3-night stay at Riu Ocho Rios traveling with my twin granddaughters and 1-year-old great-grandson, and we highly recommend it for families!From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was incredibly fast, which was a huge blessing traveling with little ones. The staff welcomed us with wonderful hospitality, and every team member we encountered was very nice and attentive throughout our entire trip.The highlights of our stay included:Amazing dining & service: The selection of meals was great, making it very easy to find plenty of delicious options everyone loved. A special shout-out to Keven in the Steakhouse for his exceptional service and making our dinner so wonderful!Brilliant entertainment: The entertainment team was fantastic and kept things lively and fun for us.Room amenities: We loved that the drinks in our room fridge were always topped up and kept fully stocked.Housekeeping: The service was excellent, and we appreciated having fresh towels changed each day without delay.Thank you to the entire team for making our family getaway so comfortable and memorable. We cannot wait to return!

We had a really enjoyable stay and, overall, I think this resort offers great value for money. Having stayed here before, I was pleasantly surprised by some of the improvements, especially the food, which I found to be tastier than I remembered. The buffet had a great variety of options, so there was always something for everyone. The water park was definitely a highlight, especially for the little ones and teenagers. I also liked that there were dedicated daytime spaces for younger children and teens, giving different age groups their own areas to enjoy. It has a family pool as well as adults-only pools, which was a great option for adults who wanted some peace and quiet away from the kids. The property is quite large, with lots of recreational areas and plenty of things to do, so there’s no shortage of ways to spend your time. The nightly entertainment was also good and added to the overall experience. Overall, we had a great time and I’d say it’s a particularly good option for families looking for plenty to do without spending a fortune.
