I took my family to Royalton Bávaro for a week holiday. The hotel and resort was beautiful, the room we stayed in was excellent with views of the ocean. Great location and the atmosphere of the place in general was nice. Mixture of chilled and activities. Not busy and noisy. The facilities were good around the resort. I know there are some maintenance being conducted around the resort which I think is needed in some places, e.g. tiles missing around the pool areas and swim up bar. However, on the whole all good and clean. We paid for Diamond Club Service, which is worth it and adds great value to the holiday. Our butlers were Wilkins and Reyes both were excellent, polite and very professional. It was our first time in the Dominican Republic and they both made us feel welcome, both arranged bookings for restaurants, snacks to our rooms, booking a cabana which was excellent. They made our vacation so much better and their hard work should be highlighted by the management. Great time away with the family! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Great experience
I had an amazing experience Carlos was our butler and he made sure we had a great time and had everything we needed and all our questions answered to have a great experience at the resort if you go I definitely recommend to ask to have Carlos as you Butler

Food was horrible the only place edible was Oceanside, certain workers were very rude, (I also didn’t appreciate the workers would talk mess about us in Spanish thinking we didn’t know the language), the whole experience to get a buggy was horrible and no one would help, the only thing that made up for everything was our Butler Carlos he was very attentive and kind.

Royalton bavaro
We have just got back from a wonderful time celebrating my son’s 21st birthday. We were diamond club and our butler was Albert who above and beyond to make our stay even more special. We had a swim up room which was just perfect. All the staff were always happy to help with a smile on faces from the bar tenders to the cleaners. On the last night we ordered the tomahawk steak and the lobster from Hunters which was just delicious. There are areas of this hotel that are looking tiered but there are plenty of renovations going on to bring it back to its former glory. A massive thank you to Albert and the team for making our holiday to memorable.
