Leave your stress behind and get a needed dose of fun in the sun! Round up the family and head for the beachfront at this resort, where a 90-foot, spiral waterslide delights the kids, while you unwind in a two-level pool. Bring dancing shoes and shopping bags, because sizzling nightlife and authentic shops are right outside the Marriott in San Juan.

Located on a wide stretch of Condado Beach, the golden sand is a sunny spot for pulling up a lounge chair, while the kids search for treasure. Ready for a cold one? Let the kids navigate the children's pool, while you swim-up to La Isla Grill and Pool Bar for a passion-fruit mojito. Swim up an appetite and indulge at one of four restaurants; we love grilled grouper in a zesty, tamarind sauce at La Vista Latin Grill, or cannelloni di aragosta (pasta stuffed with lobster ragout) at Ristorante Tuscany. After dinner, it's time to experience San Juan nightlife. Share a dance with someone special at 1309, or head to BLU for piña coladas and DJ jams.

From food to fun, guests enjoy everything about this resort. Challenge the kids to a game of beach volleyball or a friendly tennis match. Feeling lucky? Stellaris Casino has more than 426 slots machines and 26 table games for you to woo Lady Luck. Rather spend your cash on something with a guaranteed return? Ocean Club Spa delivers pure gold with the Jet Lag massage. Relax and let the essential oils and plant extracts ease your back and neck after a day of fun.

Between resort and beach fun, Old San Juan's rich culture deserves your attention. Three historic forts, Fort San Felipe del Morro, Fort San Cristobal and El Canuelo, were designated UNESCO World Heritage sites in 1983 and offer fascinating daytrips along with San Juan's great shopping. When you're ready to call it a night, the Deluxe City View Room sleeps a family of four comfortably. Staying with someone special? Check out the Ocean Front Room and share a romantic sunset on the balcony.

    Horrible Rooms

We just stayed at the San Juan Marriott and let me warn you, these rooms are horrible. The beds are not queen size at all. The are so small if you are traveling with a family it’s impossible to sleep with more than one person per bed. Also, this room smelled like paint upon check in and look at the floors!! They were all dirty and disgusting and all scratched up! And we got upgraded to this room!! If you want to go in the pool good luck. It’s way overcrowded and isn’t big enough for the amount of rooms they have. Never again would I stay at this hotel.

    Pretty perfect

Great location and lots to do. Food is wonderful. We enjoyed ordering room service. The vibe is perfect and housekeeping kept up with all of our needs. There was some noise for sure. The room next to us, the dogs in the apartment building close by, and there was a little concert or something one night. Don’t bother us too much, though. The staff is over the top accommodating, pleasant, and seemed genuinely concerned about making sure we were well cared for. We loved it.

Great location but not worth the stress

Stayed here with my family - it's in a great location and the hotel is nice on the surface, but there were too many problems under the surface to recommend it. Rooms felt constantly damp; walls are thin to the point where we could clearly hear neighboring guests yelling in their rooms at all hours; many spaces in the hotel reeked of weed. The TV is volume-locked so you can't turn it up beyond a certain level that was difficult to hear above the AC. The beach gets cleared of chairs and umbrellas at 5:30, and the beach itself is locked off at 7, which makes it difficult to enjoy the main attraction of the hotel. Housekeeping frequently didn't clean and makeup the room until past 6 PM, and one day I had to request multiple times for someone to come clean the room and replace the towels, eventually they came around 7:30 PM. When I got the final bill we'd been charged an extra ~$100 for parking which he hadn't used. No apology when I pointed it out. There's also the issue of the $65/day "resort fee". Total rip-off.

Decent Stay- Rooms are not newly renovated.

I’ve stayed at this hotel perviously but not in the made tower, when booking it says fully renovated room- when?! The room I stayed in had a strange order probably coming from the AC unit. The room always felt damp, even the sheets and pillows felt damp. There were visible rusty spots in the bathroom on the ceiling, the paint in the room especially in the bathroom looked like there were so many coats to conceal water damage or maybe even mold. The rooms are decent but not what I would except for almost $500 p/n. On a positive every staff member I encountered was friendly and very helpful! The beach and the pool were relaxing and well maintained. The grounds and the common areas and lobby of the hotel are clean and kept up. I love PR and I enjoy visiting but I would never stay here again! *Additionally, Please take down the newly renovated on your website to say certain sections are newly renovated.
