    Best time ever!

My husband and I had the absolute best time at Moxche! We loved it so much that we extended our stay; after 12 days we still felt sad to leave. The pools are amazing! From the giant lagoon to the Observatory pool... the activity pool to the cenote pools... every one is more lovely than the next. Food is a little fancier than what we're used to, but we tried everything. There is certainly no shortage on restaurant options. My husband played pool volleyball and I did aquaerobics every afternoon. We went to every show and karaoke night and enjoyed them all. We even competed in Secrets Idol! Def go to Roads Through Mexico and Asado Night on the beach. These people work super hard to serve and entertain the guests and we appreciated all of them!!! Shout outs to Jessica, Ari, Miguel, Gabby, Axel, Joram, Adrian, Sergio, Sandy... every one of them knew us by name and made our stay so special.

Overall stunning resort, we will be back!

The is hands down the best resort I’ve been to. The resort itself was stunning. The restaurants were all amazing, and the staff were very helpful. We will definitely be back in the future! There was actually minimal seaweed on the beach when we went the first week of September. We had the preferred club swim out suite and the room was amazing. However, the mosquitos made it difficult to enjoy the swim out as much as we had hoped.

    Amazing views

Best views I've ever had. Preferred status a must to get access to that rooftop pool/restaurant. Ember had the best tasting food that we got to experience. So many pools and places to relax. Would visit again.

    Everything was way too HOT

Not my favorite. Very HOT. The ambiance and look of the resort are a 10. Food was excellent, but every worker was visibly sweaty, and although they were all VERY good and very attentive, I could gell they were overworked. Most of the pools were tiled with black tiles & like hot tubs- not the refreshing reprieve from the hot sun we were hoping for. The beach was rocky and sludgey if there is such a thing, and also HOT. Not much to do here but eat, drink & sweat. The spa was AMAZING & the only pool that was semi cool, too bad it costs extra to use it. The restuarants, again, HOT even the ones with AC, just didn't seem like they could keep up with the doors being propped open, but most of them were geared towards outdoor eating: Seasoul, the Observatory, Bamboo, the Roads through Mexico, all outside in the heat. The areas that we expected to give us a break from the sun & heat (hallways, elevators, lounges) just put us in a place with no air circulation. The elevator to our Preferred room was a "service" elevator that we were told multiple times was usually used for staff only. We rode the elevator with laundry and dishes multiple times throughout our stay. Problem was, the guest elevator was broken and this was the only one to get to our room. They were also actively renovating the walkways while we were there, cutting into concrete and filling with a black rock border along the edges. We heard the machinery and saw the smoke billowing from all areas of the resort all throughout our stay. The TV didnt work and we had to call twice to get maintenance up to service it. They also interrupted us one morning during our room service breakfast with a crew of 4 maintenance workers with a ladder propped up in our room to change out the smoke detector that evidently hadnt been working. We watched water stream out of it as it was removed, which tells me theres a watwr leak within the walls or ceiling thats probably already breeding mold. It was hard to enjoy. Not the relaxing vacation we had hoped for.
