Secrets Tides is 5 star. I had a Preferred room. My Butler was Hedrel. My friends and I are pretty tough to deal with but he provided us Top Tier service. I will come back and I must have Hedrel. The food was great. The resort was clean. Drinks were mostly great. My only complaint is the beach was not enjoyable because too many people would not stop bothering us, trying to sell something. I give the beach vibe a one star.

Great time in Punta Cana.
Hedral was amazing as our butler. He always kept us informed with daily activities and special requests. Alexandra in the preferred pool is very personable and great. I sought her our everyday and made sure she served and poured my drinks.

Great staff and beautiful resort
Location we visited was Secrets Tides Punta Cana as a group of 20 for a 40th birthday celebration! The atmosphere was relaxing yet exciting with all the activities! The rooms were very nice and clean. Feel like the value of the accommodations was comparable. Noise level was not an issue at all they had areas that were loud and busy with activities but places you can escape for peace and quiet even in regard to the pools. Service was wonderful!! Hedral our butler was there to help us with anything we needed from reservations for dinner to helping make sure all was in place for our friends bday celebration. He was wonderful and it was a pleasure to meet him! The entertainment team was so fun and kept the energy up and the atmosphere fun! Deivid, Erica, Skinny Girl, Teddy and Gregory on the entertainment team were the absolute best they kept us all engaged and even learned our names to personalize the experience. The bar tenders, wait staff, baristas, towel kiosk staff, pool side staff, housekeeping etc. were all so kind, welcoming and available to help at any time. Rafael and Luis who worked the preferred pool area went out of their way to personalize our visit by getting us fresh coconut drinks and pizza! Staff exceeded all expectations in every area. We were very impressed with all the amenities the resort had to offer. The food was delicious we did have some restaurants we liked better than others. El Patio, Meraki, Market Cafe’, Coco Cafe and Seaside grill were our favorites. We don’t love Oceans Grill and Portofino the components were there but missed the mark. Don’t think it was the chefs feel like it was the dishes served and how they were trained. We did hibachi one night and they struggled to under stand that I only eat seafood but we did finally get it worked out. It was not a favorite due to seasoning and oil used BUT the chef was great and made the experience fun! Our only disappointment was my husband book a private dinner for us on a whim before we left for an excursion as a surprise not realizing we had a coupon I tried to bring back the coupon once I learned of the dinner but staff refused to honor it stated must be presented at time of booking again it was on a whim and he wasn’t aware. I feel like coupons should be accepted at any time up to check out feel like that is a bit scammy so others should be aware. Sadly not of any fault of resort the beach was covered in sea grass and it smelled awful. They tried to clear it all day everyday but it was nonstop coming in so be aware this sea grass is present Aug-Oct/Nov.

Overall, our stay at Secrets Tides was average. The resort is beautiful and the service was good, but the food lacked variety and freshness. The staff was the highlight, especially Alexandra, Jordy, Josefa, Juan, Coral, Victor, Happy Boy, and Edward at the Preferred Pool Bar. Darling, the Pool staff supervisor, and the recreation team also kept things fun. We also appreciated Feliz at Market Café, Chabela at the food truck, Luis at the Preferred Pool concierge, and our butler Luis, who went above and beyond. Unfortunately, the food lacked variety and freshness, with hard, reheated rice. El Patio was our best meal, and we had no complaints about the drinks or bar service. We visit Punta Cana often and have stayed at Secrets Cap Cana twice, which remains our favorite. Secrets Tides has potential, but the food needs attention. The staff made our stay enjoyable, and we appreciate their excellent service.

Secrets tides punta cana! An exceptional resort
Secret tides in punta cana was a fantastic hotel and resort. The resort was immaculate every day. It was set up very beautifully with lots of little secluded areas for couples to have romantic dinners. And just to find a little place to get away, grab a book or just be by yourself. I really enjoyed my stay at this resort. And would definitely recommend it, and I would definitely go back!
