Fabulous experience at the Sheraton Buganvilias
We went to Mexico on a blended business and leisure trip and stayed 5 days at the Sheraton Buganvilias Resort in Puerto Vallarta. We had a blast. All the staff is so friendly, welcoming and attentive. I recommend a morning walk at the private beach, followed by breakfast at the Club Lounge in the 23rd floor with stunning views over the Pacific and the picturesque downtown Vallarta. Sunbathing in the huge swimming pool in the morning and the full spa circuit in the afternoon to relax. In the evening enjoy the diverse gastronomy, and don't miss the sushi experience at Umai restaurant (I like sushi and it was a very good surprise) and the fine dining at Gaviotas restaurant, recently nominated for the World Culinary Awards. Exploring Vallarta, the shops, the art galleries, the seaside walk, feeling the local culture is also a must do. But always go back to the Sheraton for cocktails and relax.

Unsure
The hotel delivered an excellent experience thanks to its outstanding team. The bellman, desk clerk, room service, and housekeeping staff were all exceptional, providing warm, attentive, and professional service throughout our stay. However, our experience at Fiesta Night was disappointing. The food service workers collecting money were unprofessional and created an uncomfortable interaction that contrasted sharply with the otherwise high‑quality service we received. Despite that isolated incident, the hotel staff as a whole were wonderful, and we appreciated their dedication to making guests feel welcome.

Not Your Average Sheraton! One of the Best Hotel Experiences in Puerto Vallarta
Sheraton Buganvillas completely exceeded my expectations! This is definitely not your average Sheraton. From the minute I checked in, down to the welcome amenity in my room, I felt so welcomed. The hospitality to the amazing culinary experiences at Gaviotas and Umai, every detail was on point. The tasting menu was a foodie’s heaven, with the executive chefs each presenting a dish. Chef Fidel and his team at Umai were exceptional. The sushi experience was not something I expected. Maiavé Spa was one of the best spa experiences I’ve had in Puerto Vallarta. Beautiful facilities and pure relaxation. You can leave me at the cold plunge all day. I needed that reset. As an event planner, I can also see why this property is such a great fit for destination weddings, meetings, conferences, and special events. Great spaces, strong food and beverage, wonderful hospitality, and a location close to both the airport and Malecón. I came for work, but I’ll definitely be back with my family. Thank you Julieta and the entire team for an amazing experience!

Te tratan como Mexicano y te cobran como gringo
The resort it’s absolutely gorgeous to bad we had a really unpleasant experience with one of the restaurants we acquire the all inclusive package for a whole week and we love the food and the service except on the restaurant called Mar y Tierra the atmosphere is good but the manager and some of the waiters shouldn’t be working there because if you Hispanic they will not threat you the same as the o the era tourists specially a waiter named Vidal he tough that because we were Hispanics we wouldn’t tip so he helps us with a bad attitude We acuities a time share before this incident and I almost made me cancel it in the other hand we highly recommend to go and visit the restaurant called Las Gaviotas that made us stay with our time share still The waiters are the best people that Vallarta could have specially Manuel the waiter and Manuel the Manager super educated and very respectful persons Manuel will explain every single plate and he will Make you feel special so thanks Gaviotas for making us continue with the purchase of the timeshare we look forward for the next Visit there And I will like to thank the guy of the Nieves this guy stays out of the Sunday brunch restaurant handing the most delicious handmade ice cream My recommendation to the resort management is to have the Manuel’s from las Gaviotas train the other servers of the Mariscos restaurant they need to have more manners and education towards all people not just a few thanks
