    Best Vacation All Inclusive

My husband and I were thrilled with our experience at The Reef. The accommodations are exceptional, very very clean, extremely comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen though we didn't need it, TV in both the bedroom and living area, and fantastic views from sliding glass doors off both the main room and the bedroom. Apparently every unit there has this gorgeous view of absolute paradise. Being both gluten free and a vegan, I was concerned about the all inclusive dining, however, I couldn't have been better cared for. Chef Campo went out of her way to accommodate me. Her meals were absolutely delicious! If I wasn't already a vegan she would have convinced me to be one after the first taste of her cuisine. It was seriously the best vegan food I've had since going vegan 11 years ago! She and all her staff, as well as the people serving at the beachside bar are the true treasures of The Reef. Everyone was so attentive from Gopi in the dining room to Tony at the bar we felt very well cared for. Highly recommend this destination!

Loved the Resort, Not the Sargassum or the Feathered Guests

Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay at The Reef Resort. The rooms were exceptionally clean, modern, and well-maintained, making it a comfortable place to relax after a day exploring Grand Cayman. The staff throughout the resort were welcoming, and the service at the beach bar was especially friendly and attentive. The biggest disappointment was the amount of sargassum during our stay. While I understand this is a natural occurrence and outside the resort’s control, it significantly impacted beach access and created an unpleasant odor at times, making it less enjoyable to spend time along the shoreline. Another issue we weren’t expecting was the number of free-roaming chickens and roosters around the property. They were constantly around the pool area and along the walkways to the guest rooms. If you’re staying on the first floor, be especially careful—these birds will happily help themselves to anything left on your patio and will even try to wander into your room if the door is open. Despite those issues, the resort itself is attractive, the accommodations are excellent, and the staff works hard to provide a great experience. If the sargassum isn’t an issue during your visit and you don’t mind sharing the property with some very persistent feathered residents, The Reef Resort is still a solid choice for a relaxing stay in Grand Cayman.

    Best Place On Grand Cayman

This place is great for anyone who loves to get away and just relax! Don’t expect to be pampered like every other all-inclusive place (this ain’t Cabo) but the food is incredible, the staff is great and friendly; Shaun thank-you so much for taking the time to talk futbol with my son, Arturo for helping plan our excursions and getting us a car from Andy’s as well as being so helpful and Dalia for being the best barista there is at 7:00 am on the dot every morning. The rooms are huge, clean, and very well equipped for any size family or party. The beaches and pools are well maintained and the daily activities are a blast. One piece of advice: bring a tumbler/insulated cup/Yeti/Stanley, so you can fill it and not have to make constant trips from the pool/beach back to the bar (there’s no wait-service in those areas) but you do get your steps in which is a plus. Overall we had a great time and couldn’t ask for a better environment, friendlier staff, or location.

    Girl's Trip 2026

This resort is amazing! I almost hate to leave such a great review because we definitely plan on coming back, and afraid too many people will discover this hidden gem! We decided to do a girls' trip and spend a week at The Reef, and from the moment we arrived, the experience was incredible. Our trip started with a warm welcome from the sweetest check-in representative, Marlisa. She was informative, funny, and made us feel right at home. Arturo greeted us with delicious rum punch and helped us sign up for the buffets we wanted to attend. We didn't think the experience could get any better, but every single day we were blown away by the exceptional customer service from everyone on the staff. Amanda (aka Sassy Pants), and Gabriela remembered us from a previous visit and welcomed us back with the biggest hugs ever. Samir was thrilled that we made time to visit him next door and gave us a heartfelt welcome as well. Tony always greeted us with a smile, a thumbs-up, and delicious cocktails. We also met many new faces who treated us like old friends from day one. I know I'll probably forget a few names, and I apologize in advance, but I want to thank Gopi, Karan, Alex, Ruel, Vahid, and Marille who always had the sweetest smile every time we saw her. It's clear that The Reef takes great care of its employees, and that positive culture shines through in every interaction. We truly felt like family during our stay and cannot wait to return and see our friends again. Thank you for an unforgettable vacation. We'll see you again soon! – Christy, Sherri, and Stephanie ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great first time stay on the island

We really enjoyed our time at The Reef. The staff was very friendly and eager to assist whenever needed. We had a two bedroom unit and had AC issues toward the end of our week that was handled promptly before we could become uncomfortable. Our kids enjoyed the activities provided for them (especially the driftwood painting). I was super excited to have the opportunity to try scuba diving in the resort pool and enjoy morning yoga. We actually preferred this side of the island as it was quieter and less busy. We also loved eating at Tukka’s and La Casita which are very close by, There is a small grocery store directly across the street that is super convenient although we mostly we used it for dry goods and water. Housekeeping stops by every third day but we found they would still provide fresh towels before then if requested. Our first two nights, we had a crab that kept banging on our ground floor sliding door in the middle of the night, That was a first for us but otherwise, it was a quiet and peaceful stay and we would definitely come back!
